Not Sure What You Want to Be When You Grow Up?

Barbara Sher is a true pioneer and one of the foremost experts in the area of expanding career options and figuring out what you want to do with your life.   Her work, while applicable to everyone, is especially helpful for women, who have seen their choices multiply over the years, which can sometimes lead to "analysis paralysis."

I've always been envious of people who have never doubted their career choices.  Barbara was the first author to give those of us who haven't known what we wanted to do since we were six years old, or who've somehow veered off the path to ballerina/princess, *permission* not only to not know, but to change our minds from time to time, and to be interested in more than one thing (no, it's not ADD, it's called being a 'scanner').  Barbara's books and DVDs are a great place to get affirmation, inspiration, and maybe some "a-ha!" moments.  Using Barbara's "idea party," you may even figure out what you want to be when you grow up!

At the moment, only one of Barbara's books is available for the Kindle electronic reading device:

If you don't have a Kindle electronic reader, it's a handy device that can store hundreds of publications in the space and weight of a paperback book.  If you're a traveler like me, you know how your reading materials can impact the weight limits on your luggage.

The Kindle makes it easy to take along lots of great books, newspapers, even magazines, *and* that extra pair (or two) of shoes!
