What a Tees
When's the last time you revisited that stack of concert t-shirts you accumulated in your early days and still can't bear to let go of? Here's an innovative way to save the planet while keeping your memories fresh. A company called ReTees (www.retees.com) recycles t-shirts into eco-friendly, useful products -- everything from tote bags to pet leashes. They even twist them into tug toys for dogs and make jewelry out of recycled buttons.
This is a great example of taking an interest or hobby (cool t-shirts and buttons) and plugging it into a trend (keeping stuff out of landfills - reduce, reuse, recycle) and creating products that sell.
If you'[re a person who likes to make things, look around your house. What would you otherwise be throwing away that you could repurpose in a creative way?
The planet, and your future customers, will be pleased.
