Did you know it's National Entrepreneurs Week?  It's a good time to celebrate the creative minds that keep our economy moving.  There's a lot of talk about banks and corporations that are "too big to fail."  But those businesses were once an idea in an entrepreneur's mind, an action he or she took to make it a reality, and the hard work of building it into a place of employment for others. 

Without entrepreneurs, we wouldn't have any businesses, big or small.  Something we tend to forget amid all the hand-wringing over whether the government should "allow" entities like Citigroup or GM to go bankrupt.  The huge conglomerate is not what will save our economy.  It's the men and women who can't find work that suits them, so they create a job for themselves.  They figure out what their passions are, and they market their skills and talents to people who have a need or want that they can fulfill.  Entrepreneurship is the science of solving problems in the marketplace.  What do you have, and who wants what you have?
